Burn Testing Services

At AFR, we understand the demands of timely services.  We offer expedited burn testing services to help improve lead times for your project demands.  

We offer the following burn testing services at an FAA Accepted Test Facility:

• Bunsen Burner Tests

  • 12 and 60-second Vertical Burn ( for Cabin & Cargo Compartment Materials)

  • Horizontal Burn ( for Cabin, Cargo Compartment and Miscellaneous Materials)

  • 45-Degree Burn ( for Cargo compartment Liners and Waste Stowage Compartment)

  • 60-Degree Burn (for Electric Wire)

• OSU Heat Release, FAR 25.853 (d) Appendix F, Part IV

• FAA Smoke Density, FAR 25.853 (d) Appendix F, Part V
